I've had ALOT of time to think, pray, and search out ways that I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in my world!
How can I (a local) go (global) in my efforts to reach out to the hurt & broken? Let's face it, I'm a mother to 3 1/2 year old girl, so to jump up on a plane and head oversees isn't as easy as it used to be. Not that I don't ever want to go again but the Lord is showing me ways I can do something even if I have to stay home for a season. So what can I do as a woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, singer, songwriter, worship leader?

The "doing" can be anything God has given YOU: praying, serving, writing, giving, loving, caring, donating, singing, dancing, painting, sewing, building, listening, speaking...the list goes on!! Whatever God has given you to do can impact the lives of others!

“Unless a life is lived for others, it is not worthwhile” Mother Teresa

GLOBAL:

Being a mother to a little girl really stirs my heart for "all daughters" out there who are abused by the strangle of injustice. There are two areas of focus that have been burning on my heart:

#1. I want to raise a greater awareness to one of the most horrific, top crimes in our world - human trafficking. Believe it or not, many people have no idea what this is! I want to help in rescuing girls/women from slavery & prositituion.

#2. Supplying clean water to the nations by digging wells for villages and for helping supply water filters.

LOCAL:

A percentage of the music merchandise from my new, up-coming worship CD, "Night Light", will go towards the two missions listed above. I will live out justice - "making the wrong right" - in doing my part to help make change.
