His Love Will Be Your Night

The pressing of the night was like the weight of a 100 ton boulder in the middle of my chest. Crushing and breaking to the bare bone. I only knew how to gasp for air-infused hope, His name. I knew if I could just say it, I would make it another night. Power is in profession even if you don't feel it or see it. Still, tears filled the floor and the pillow. Questions. Unanswered. How can anyone stand, let alone breathe under the heaviness of this night season? Then, the song would come. Right when all hope seemed to expel, His modulation would lift me higher to soar and all fear would fall. Assurance graced & fitted me with courage to see the unseen one more time. His song and word carried me every night in the season.

The song "Nightlight" came as comfort. When so much is questionable, God's love is not. This is my foundation and truth upon which I live and teach my child about her good God! This song is for Maisey. Night time can be uncertain & scary but with His love as our Nightlight, we can sleep in His peace because where His love is, all darkness is eliminated! He will take care of His children because He is a faithful Father and He loves us so.

Psalm 42:8 "Yet the Lord will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, a prayer to the God of my life."
