Little Randoms

I have to admit that I wear scarves all year-round and my sweet sister lets me have it with a daily dose of kind, sarcastic remarks; especially in the hotness of July & August! Don't you just love having a big sister? I do : ) Anyway, thankfully the season change means less remarks from her about my neck attire and more compliments on my latest, cheap finds from Bealls Outlet (the best store in the world...it's a glorified yard sale but I LOVE it...especially on Fridays cause it's discount day!) Watch out Kelli cause I'm coming at you with a new fall line of whatever is on sale baby! Ha!

It's been a long while since the last time I blogged and now that October is here, I felt it would be very appropriate to welcome the new season with a few random thoughts. So, WELCOME OCTOBER! YOU ARE LOVELY!

Yesterday I opened the door and I felt the wind kiss my face as I watched a colorful pile of leaves swirl up to the sky. It was one of those moments, ya know? I enjoy those little pauses in life where the Lord reminds us that He is in control...no matter what the season or circumstance looks or feels like, HE knows and sometimes that's all I need to know. Simple.

So, enjoy this month...buy a new scarf at Bealls and a warm caramel apple cider from where-ever, sit outside and drink in the new season & the fact that Jesus cares.

Here's where I'll be singing this month...

AND
Here are some pictures from a recent, fun event I played at for "The Shops at Breedlove". Wanna give a shout out to Hal Breedlove for being one of my first sponsors that helped fund the Nightlight CD. Also, a big shout out to my precious parents! They are GOLD to me and I'm so thankful and grateful for their love and support. BTW, it was my daddy's idea to sport the "YesIAm" shirts!! LOVE YOU Daddy & Mama!!
