A few years ago I released a single on Valentine's Day to celebrate the love between my parents. Since then, this song has been one our family has enjoyed (especially the ending because it's the original recording of my dad singing to my mom, "I love you Carolyn Patterson. You will be mine forever. You love me forever and I will love you too.") He was away in Vietnam and had a chance to send her a recording on a little, yellow, vinyl record. "Forever Mine" has been featured on 94.9fm Backyard Country several times as well....Thanks for voting to keep it on those weeks!!
I recorded this song at Johnson Brothers Studio in Covington, GA with a few friends. Producer, John Johnson, is singing me and don't you just love his voice?!! He's the best!
