Sing God a brand-new song! Earth and everyone in it, sing!
Sing to God—worship God!
Shout the news of his victory from sea to sea,
Take the news of his glory to the lost,
News of his wonders to one and all!
For God is great, and worth a thousand Hallelujahs.
His terrible beauty makes the gods look cheap;
Pagan gods are mere tatters and rags.
God made the heavens—
Royal splendor radiates from him,
A powerful beauty sets him apart.
Bravo, God, Bravo!
Everyone join in the great shout: Encore!
In awe before the beauty, in awe before the might.
Bring gifts and celebrate,
Bow before the beauty of God,

He put the world on a firm foundation;

The other day my friend Abbie sent me a little snippet of her son, Gavin, singing "Overflow", from the album Nightlight. Hearing this precious, innocent, pure-heartfelt worship reminded me of what God desires from us - daily. I am challenged again to bring my life and gladly lay it all down at His feet. He desires to draw out our child-like faith in worship so that our hearts can join His to LOVE beyond ourselves - supernaturally. Here's what Gavin's mom - Abbie - says about her sweet boy... "Gavin is the sweetest, coolest kid... His full name is Gavin Colt Butler & he will be three years old tomorrow, February 8th. Gavin's favorite things are...rain boots, rain jackets & snacks! Gavin has such a heart that only God could have created...the first thing he wants to do when he gets hurt or he hears about someone else hurting is to pray...."Dear Lord, make so and so feel better." or he will pray for someone's "salsation"....yes, salvation. He talks about what heaven is like, and what Jesus is like....one day I asked him how he knew where Jesus was and he told me because he had seen Jesus before.... He prayed for Mancel (his older brother) the other night on the way home from church because Mancel's head was hurting....Gavin asked God to "come" to Mancel and to "enter in" his heart.....wow....he amazes me. The child totally has brain cells that blow my mind away....he counts to almost 20, he knows his ABC's...he knows some sign language, he knows his birthday...and he can totally sing just about any song he has heard once or twice. He knows most of your CD and he knows almost all of B Shoc's songs....And he can really worship God!!! The one word he can say that will just flat out melt your heart is "Hallelujah"...." 
Thanks Abbie for sharing a little about your precious boy! He has challenged us all to love the Lord "with all our heart, with all our soul, & with all our strength"!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!!
